There are important changes afoot with NRA’s Youth Advisory Board. The Youth Advisory Board, or YAB, provides opportunities for NRA Junior Members 18 years of age or under (or Annual and Life members 18 or under) to offer constructive feedback on NRA’s youth programs, InSights magazine and other topics. The YAB represents the broad range of interests and experiences of youth in the shooting sports. Until recently, the YAB Selection Committee chose 10 annual members from submitted applications. Under review is a new program whereby each organization (Boy Scouts, 4-H, JROTC, Royal Rangers, DeMolay, High School Rodeo, etc.) will nominate its YAB representative. Watch for updates in early 2008 at www.nrahq.org/youth, or call (703) 267-1550.
