A Letter from InSights' Editor

Dear InSights Readers,

Believe it or not, although I've been working here at the National Rifle Association for almost five years now, I had never actually taken a big-game animal myself. That is, until now! I recently took my very first whitetail deer, right after a giant blizzard blasted through western Nebraska, on a hunt hosted by the good folks at Hornady Manufacturing (www.hornady.com). There were so many great things about it, but one of the best is that I got to learn some new stuff, right alongside all of you. Keep an eye peeled on this website for links to videos about how bullets are made, how to track a deer, and to find out how my hunt went.
